ABOUT: H2O2 (Hydrogen peroxide)
Employees at a chemical factory producing, hydrogen peroxide (among other products) were photographed. The site was Kemira Kemi, chemical industry in Helsingborg. When employees were standing in line for lunch at the factory canteen, some of them volunteered to be photographed. I then digitally bleached their hairs the taken photos. The collection of portraits was then exposed as an army of blonds on a wall in their workplace canteen. One aim was to let the employees, on a personal level, relate to what they were producing.
The project is part of ”Art on working place” Artists invited to make site-specific work, curated by Konstfrämjandet Skåne, Sweden.
